Greetings in Christ,
Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School was founded in 1995 to meet the growing need of families seeking an exceptional, gospel-centered, classical Christian education in North Idaho.
My wife and I founded Spokane Classical Christian School in 2015 to meet the same needs in Eastern Washington. The Lord has been very kind toward us, and we are very thankful to Him for His goodness and faithfulness, calling us to provide this service to families. In the summer of 2025, I came on board at Classical Christian Academy (now CDA Classical) to continue their longstanding vision for excellent, affordable, Christ-centered, classical education.
Coeur' d’Alene Classical Christian School desires to to meet the following objectives:
Provide a quality classical Christian education that is affordable to families.
Create a sweet harmony between home, church, discipleship and academics.
Emphasize the development of strong Christian character and integrity.
Partner with parents to effectively equip and prepare children to succeed in a complex world.
Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School provides a full Kindergarten through 12th grade program. We are committed to the mission of raising up students who are able to faithfully contend in a crumbling culture and be leaders in whatever calling the Lord has for them. We ask that you prayerfully consider if Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School is a good fit for you and your family.
Blessings,
Brent Harken
Superintendent
Shannon and I have been married for 33 years and we have two adult children and two grandchildren. In June of 2023, after 24 years of military service, I retired from the U.S. Air Force Chaplain Corps. While our military life and career took us all around the world, Shannon and I moved to north Idaho in 2024 because our family believes that God has called us to put down roots - for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. We’re excited to be part of what God is doing in and through Coeur D’Alene Classical.
