Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School was founded in 1995 to meet the growing needs of families seeking an exceptional, gospel-centered, classical Christian education in North Idaho.
Coeur' d’Alene Classical Christian School desires to to meet the following objectives:
Provide a quality classical Christian education that is affordable to families.
Create a sweet harmony between home, church, discipleship and academics.
Emphasize the development of strong Christian character and integrity.
Partner with parents to effectively equip and prepare children to succeed in a complex world.
Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School provides a full Kindergarten through 12th grade program. We are committed to the mission of raising up students who are able to faithfully contend in a crumbling culture and be leaders in whatever calling the Lord has for them. We ask that you prayerfully consider if Coeur d’Alene Classical Christian School is a good fit for you and your family.
I am honored to serve as Head of School at Coeur d'Alene Classical Christian School, and I am excited to be part of what God is doing in and through our school.
For seventeen years I served as a pastor and church planter, and for twenty-four years as a chaplain in the United States Air Force. In both callings I had the privilege of shepherding people, walking with families through every season of life, and pointing them to Christ. I now count it a joy to bring that same pastoral heart to the work of Christian education.
Our school is built on the conviction that "the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge" (Proverbs 1:7). Every subject, from Latin and logic to literature and laboratory science, belongs to Christ, and we teach it that way. Our classical approach trains students to think clearly, speak persuasively, and write well, all under the authority of Scripture.
We also believe parents are the primary educators of their children. God's charge in Deuteronomy 6:6–7 is given to families first, and our teachers come alongside you in that work. We want home, church, and classroom to speak with one voice.
Our mission is to raise up students who can "stand firm in the faith" (1 Corinthians 16:13) and serve faithfully in whatever calling the Lord gives them. I invite you to visit our campus, meet our teachers, and see what God is doing here. We would be honored to pray with you as you consider whether CCCS is the right fit for your family.

My wife and I founded Spokane Classical Christian School in 2015 to meet the same needs in Eastern Washington. The Lord has been very kind to the us, and we are deeply thankful for His goodness and faithfulness in calling us to serve families in this way.
In the summer of 2025, I joined Classical Christian Academy (now CCCS) to carry forward its longstanding vision for excellent, affordable, Christ-centered classical education.
